Tessa Altman is a writer and editor with a special focus on creating copy and content that is vegan and cruelty-free. She has been vegan since 2016. With both a love of literature and a passion for animal rights, she often combines the two, which is why her senior thesis included a section dedicated to the vegan-sounding arguments found in Anne Brontë's 1847 novel Agnes Grey. She presented this paper at Sigma Tau Delta's annual English convention. She also started Vegan Book Club on Goodreads, where members read and discuss books with some connection to veganism.

On her blog, Tessa writes about veganism, literature, and other lifestyle topics, all in hopes of inspiring her readers to live a more animal-friendly life. She is also a mentor with the New Leaf Vegan Mentor program.
