Draft:Small animal deaths caused by farming

From JFA Wiki

Just notes at this point:

1. You kill far more animals when you eat the animals that ate the plants, than if you eat plants directly. This is because most of the calories we feed animals go toward daily energy for living, as well as creating tissue and body parts that we don't eat, such as bones. Very few of the calories go toward synthesizing the meat, eggs, and milk we do consume.

2. The killing of small animals has been exaggerated. One study shows that most of the small animals get out of harm's way when they hear farm equipment or experience vibrations.

3. Even though we know some deaths will occur, they are unintentional, just as highway deaths of humans are unintentional. If you intentionally cause a highway death, you are morally (and legally) culpable.
