#REDIRECT [[JFA Wiki Home Page]]
The mission of Justice for Animals is to provide a body of knowledge useful to vegans, those considering veganism, and especially those engaged in vegan and animal rights advocacy. Whether you are actively engaging with others on the street or discussing any aspect of veganism to inquisitive friends, family, or acquaintances, we can help.

The information we provide is usefully and logically organized, evidence-based, and non-hyperbolic.

We promote veganism not as an end unto itself but as the means to a world that is more fair and just, more compassionate and healthy, and less devastating to the earth that sustains us all.

=== Sections ===

The site is organized into the following sections, with information in each section further categorized by ''animals'', ''ethics'', ''earth'', ''health'', and ''humanity'', as appropriate.

{{jfanote}}Some of the pages listed are not linked either because the content has not been converted to this wiki, or because they are just serving as examples of the kinds of content that is intended for that section. {{jfanote-end}}

=== Foundational Information ===

The most important entries in each section will be flagged as ''Foundational''. Think of foundational information as basic information you should know in order to be the most effective advocate for veganism and animal rights.

Information and facts should be used judiciously, and are certainly not all you need to be an effective advocate. But being generally familiar with the knowledge presented in foundational entries can help.

Foundational pages have been copyedited or are flagged to be copyedited by a professional copy editor. Small edits by users to foundational pages only need to be approved by admins, but larger edits are flagged to be copy edited.

The focus after conversion will be on completing foundational entries. This needs to happen before other content is added. We will be recruiting other authors to work on foundational entries for both the Fact Sheets Section and the Summaries section.  Recruiting others can only happen after guidelines are written and a couple of examples in each of these sections are completed.
